Chicka-d Photography, owned by Laura Dawson, is a private photography business located in Gainesville, Florida. Laura takes great pride in photographing families, engagements, weddings, and events .

My primary focus is wedding photography. But I also take pride in photographing families and children. I wouldn't say that I am a traditional style photographer, or even a photojournalistic style photographer. I base my photographs on a client-to-client basis. I evolve my style to fit the needs of my clients. If it is eclectic, artistic, classic, or detail oriented...my style is primarily focused on showing the true emotions and personalities of my subjects.

I feel that I am a laid back and very easy to talk to, willing to adapt to the specific needs of those that I am working with.
